Jon Farhat

Jon Farhat is an American project manager for feature or commercial productions .

Life

Farhat began his career in 1991 as a special effects artist at the Disney group- owned Dream Quest Images (DQI) animation studio , where he first worked on the comedy film Rendezvous in the Afterlife . From 1994 he worked as a VFX supervisor; for his first film, The Mask , he was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA Film Award in 1995 . He received a second BAFTA Film Award nomination in 1997 for The Crazy Professor . Farhat worked on several Eddie Murphy films and was involved in two Jim Carrey comedies. With Snow White and Hansel and Gretel: Witches Hunters , he worked on two fairy tale films based on Grimm's fairy tales . During the post-production of the feature film Wanted in 2008 he fell seriously ill and had to be replaced by Stefen Fangmeier .
