Stefen Fangmeier

Stefen Markus Fangmeier (born December 9, 1960 in El Paso , Texas , USA ) is an American film director and visual effects artist .

life and career

Fangmeier's parents come from Germany. He grew up in Delmenhorst , where his father was stationed as a soldier in the German Air Force. After studying in Los Angeles, he mainly worked in the field of visual effects . After working as a second unit director on Galaxy Quest - A Planless Through Space and Dreamcatcher , he made his directorial debut in 2006 with the fantasy film Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders .
