Jonas Knutsen

Jonas Knutsen (* 2. April 1993 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player , who in since September 2011 Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League on the position of the center plays.

Career

Knutsen comes from the offspring of Manglerud Star , where he played until 2009. He then moved to Sweden and played there for one year each for the U18 and U20 offspring of IF Björklöven and Timrå IK . After he was selected in the first round in the first round in the CHL Import Draft 2011 in 15th place by the Prince Albert Raiders from the Western Hockey League , he moved there in September.

Knutsen played for his home country at the U18 Junior World Championship of Division I in 2010 and, after the successful promotion, at the U18 Junior World Championship in 2011 . In the older age group he was active in the U20 Junior World Championship of Division IA 2012 and was the top goalscorer of the tournament with the German Tobias Rieder . He scored five hits.
