Jonathan Aris (* 1971 ) is a British actor who works in film, television and theater.

Life

Jonathan Aris, son of actor Ben Aris , initially studied painting at one of the Cambridge University schools before making the decision to follow his father's path as an actor. Since 1996 he has appeared in around 60 film and television productions.

Jonathan Aris has narrated several television documentaries for the National Geographic Channel . Since 2010 he has played the role of Philip Anderson in the BBC series Sherlock .
