Jonathan Sabbatini , full name Jonathan Maximiliano Sabbatini Perfecto , (born March 31, 1988 in Paysandú ) is a Uruguayan football player . He also has Italian citizenship .

Career

The 1.76 meter tall midfielder Sabbatini was a member of the reserve team (Formativas) of Liverpool Montevideo from mid-2006 to the end of 2007 . He is then said to have been a player for the Italian club SS Virtus Lanciano in the first half of 2008 . According to other sources, was in its ranks in the 2008/09 season and ran into seven matches (no goal) in Serie C1. From the 2009/10 season he played for Calcio Chieti in the Series D . 22 games and three goals have been recorded for him that season. 2010/11 followed 29 games with his participation. He scored four goals. In the 2011/12 season he played 36 games in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione , in which he hit the opposing goal ten times. Other sources report 32 games and eight goals in that season. He then moved to Switzerland for the second division club FC Lugano . There he played 24 games in the Challenge League in the 2012/13 season and scored two goals. In the 2013/14 season, 32 second division games followed with six personal goals. In the 2014/15 season he was used 32 times in the second-highest Swiss league and scored six goals. At the end of the season he rose with the club in the top Swiss league. In the 2015/16 season he was used 33 times (six goals) in the Super League. During the 2016/17 season, he scored three times in 29 league appearances.
