Eloge Koffi Yao Guy (short Guy Eloge Yao or Eloge Yao ; born January 20, 1996 in Akroukro ) is an Ivorian football player who plays for FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League .

Career

Yao spent part of his youth at Inter Milan . His greatest success was winning the Torneo di Viareggio 2015: At the final of the junior tournament (3-2 against US Palermo ) he was on the field for over 90 minutes.

Yao made his first beginnings in the professional field in Serie B : Inter loaned him to second division club FC Crotone for the 2015/16 season . Crotone also had the option to purchase. With 30 league games and one goal, Yao had a share in Crotone's first ascent to Serie A. However, Crotone let the option of continued employment pass. Back at Inter Milan, he was in the squad several times in the 2016/17 season, but never played for the pros. He only ran once for the U19s in November 2016. In the summer of 2017, Yao moved to Switzerland for FC Lugano . He made his debut in the Super League on August 20, 2017 in a 1-1 draw against FC Basel .

National team

Yao played eight games for the U-17 national team , including games in qualifying for the 2017 U-17 African Cup of Nations . Overall he was able to score one goal.
