Jorge Enrique Lozano Zafra (born April 13, 1938 in Bogotá ) is Bishop Emeritus of Ocaña .
Life
Jorge Enrique Lozano Zafra was ordained a priest on December 19, 1964 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ocaña on June 28, 1993. He was ordained bishop by the apostolic nuncio in Colombia , Paolo Romeo , on August 6 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Héctor Rueda Hernández , Archbishop of Medellín , Darío Castrillón Hoyos , Archbishop of Bucaramanga , and Rafael Sarmiento Peralta , Archbishop of Nueva Pamplona .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on May 15, 2014.
