José Herrada

José Herrada Lopez (born October 1, 1985 ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Athletic career

José Herrada began his career in 2006 with the Spanish Continental Team Viña Magna-Cropu . In his second season there, he finished second behind his teammate Sergio Pardilla on the third leg of the Tour des Pyrénées and was also second in the overall standings behind him. In the 2007 Tour de l'Avenir U23 race , he won the sixth stage.

From 2010 Herrada drove for Caja Rural and in the same year won a stage at the Volta a Portugal and won the overall ranking of the Cinturó de l'Empordà . In 2012 he moved to Movistar and won the team time trial of the Vuelta a España with this team in 2014 . In 2015 he won the Klasika Primavera .

For the 2018 season, José Herrada moved to Team Cofidis, Solutions Crédits, together with his brother Jésus .
