José Nambi (born June 5, 1949 in Londijimbo-Quinjemje , Angola ) is Bishop of Kwito-Bié .

Life

José Nambi received on 15 August 1976, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 15 December 1995 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Kwito-Bié . The Apostolic Nuncio in Angola, Archbishop Félix del Blanco Prieto , donated him episcopal ordination on March 17, 1996 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Benguela , Oscar Lino Lopes Fernandes Braga , and the Bishop of Kwito-Bié, Pedro Luís António .

On January 15, 1997, José Nambi became Bishop of Kwito-Bié, succeeding Pedro Luís António, who resigned for reasons of age.
