José Tancredi , full name José Luis Tancredi Malatez , (born February 14, 1983 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.72 meter tall midfielder Tancredi was under contract with Bella Vista in the 2004 season until the end of 2008 . For the Montevideans he played 23 games in the Primera División in the 2008/09 season and scored five goals. He was then loaned to the Colombian club Cúcuta Deportivo until mid-September 2009 . He was used ten times (no goal) in Primera A. After he returned to Bella Vista, a commitment to Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in the Ecuadorian Serie B in 2010 , where he scored two goals in three league appearances. Bella Vista finally gave Tancredi to Deportes Quindío in Colombia at the end of July 2010 . He left the club in the first days of January 2011 after being used six times (no goal) in Primera A. Millonarios FC signed him on loan . He played 57 times for the club from Bogotá during this career station in the league, which ended in mid-2013, and scored seven times in the opposing goal. In addition, he has eight games (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2012 , two games (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2013 , one (no goal) in the Super Cup and 20 matches (five goals) in the Copa Colombia . His club won the Copa Colombia in 2011. In 2012, his team also decided the Clausura was rated in their favor. In the second half of 2013 he made 15 appearances (three goals) in Primera A for Patriotas Boyacá . From January 4, 2014, he continued his career in Venezuela at Deportivo Táchira . From then on he played 30 games (three goals) in the Primera División until he was signed by the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Cerro in mid-January 2015 . In the 2014/15 season he was used 12 times (one goal) in the Primera División for the club from Montevideo. At the beginning of July 2015 he joined the Chilean club CD Magallanes . There he played in 22 games (four goals) in Primera B and four games (no goal) in the Copa Chile . In July 2016, he moved to the Uruguayan first division team Racing Club and scored twice in 15 first division appearances in the 2016 season. In mid-January 2017, the Club Atlético Cerro signed him again. After 21 first division appearances (two goals) and two completed games (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores 2017 , he joined Club San José from Bolivia in July 2017 .
