José de la Soledad Torres y Castañeda (born March 29, 1918 in Río Grande , Durango State , Mexico , † March 4, 1967 ) was Bishop of Ciudad Obregón .
Life
José de la Soledad Torres y Castañeda received on 4 April 1943, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 28, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Ciudad Obregón. The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico, Archbishop Luigi Raimondi , donated him episcopal ordination on February 25, 1960 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Sonora , Juan María Navarrete y Guerrero , and the Archbishop of Chihuahua , Antonio Guízar y Valencia .
