Josef Bauer (politician, 1915)

Josef Bauer (born June 10, 1915 in Wasserburg am Inn ; † July 15, 1989 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Bauer, who was a Roman Catholic , finished school in 1932 with secondary school leaving certificate. A dairy apprenticeship (1932–1934) was followed by a commercial apprenticeship until 1937 and finally in 1937 the takeover of his parents' dairy company J. Bauer . From 1934 to 1935 he was an officer in the Reichswehr and from 1939 to 1945 Wehrmacht , most recently in the rank of captain . In 1946, Bauer passed the master dairy examination. He was also involved in the board of the professional association of Bavarian private dairies and cheese factories and was a member of the collective bargaining commission for the dairy industry. He lived in Wasserburg am Inn.

In 1937 Josef Bauer joined the NSDAP ( membership number 5,356,522). In 1951, Bauer became a member of the CSU, and from 1953 he was a city councilor in Wasserburg. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1969. From 1963 to 1969 he was deputy chairman of the CSU regional group in the CDU / CSU parliamentary group . He represented the constituency of Altötting in parliament. From 1972 to 1984 he was a member of the district council in the district of Rosenheim , having previously belonged to the district council in the district of Wasserburg am Inn from 1955 to 1972 .

From 1970 to 1972 he worked as a district administrator in the Wasserburg am Inn district.
