Josef Baur
Josef Baur (born January 25, 1857 in Oberstadion ; † April 26, 1927 in Biberach an der Riss ) was a German administrative officer.
Life
Baur studied criminal science from 1877 to 1881 at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In 1881 he passed the first and in 1882 the second higher service examination. Then he was deputy bailiff at the upper offices in Münsingen and Marbach . He was then from 1883 to 1888 bailiff at the Marbach Oberamt and from 1888 to 1892 at the Esslingen Oberamt . From 1892 to 1894 was a collegiate assistant worker in the government of the Neckar district in Ludwigsburg. In 1894 he became Oberamts Verweser and in 1895 Oberamtmann of the Oberamt Neresheim . From 1899 to 1914 he was Senior Administrator of the Riedlingen Office and from 1914 to 1924 of the Biberach Office . In 1924 he retired.
