Josef Ferdinand Kleindinst (born October 20, 1881 in Mering , † September 8, 1962 in Augsburg ) was a German politician of the CSU and a member of the Parliamentary Council .

Life and work

Kleindinst studied law and joined the city of Augsburg in 1919 as legal advisor. Since 1913 Kleindinst was on the city council of Augsburg, from 1921 full-time. Since he refused to join the NSDAP in 1933 , he was transferred from the legal office to the area of ​​culture and science, where he cataloged the entire city and a large part of the private cultural property until the end of the war. In July 1945 he was suspended from duty by the American military government. From 1946 to 1948 he was a welfare officer in the government of Swabia.

In 1945, Josef Ferdinand Kleindinst was a co-founder of the “Augsburger Aufbaugemeinschaft” and the CSU in Augsburg.

Kleindinst was a member of the Parliamentary Council in 1948/49, at the suggestion of the Bavarian State Parliament . In 1949 he was elected to the German Bundestag , which he belonged to until 1957 and was directly elected in the Augsburg-Stadt constituency. From November 20, 1950 to 1957 he was chairman of the civil service law committee of the Bundestag and in 1953 of the Bundestag committee to advise on the Personnel Representation Act . 1953 to 1957 he was chairman of the electoral committee according to § 6 paragraph 2 of the law on the Federal Constitutional Court .
