Josef Glas
Josef Glas , also Joseph Glas , (* 1909 in Munich ; † end of January 1992 there ) was a German actor .
Life
Glas first completed an apprenticeship as a druggist and worked as a commercial clerk; in addition, he had appearances on various amateur stages. Since 1976 he has been a member of the Iberl stage in Munich-Solln . He also made guest appearances at the “White-Blue Stage” and the Residenztheater in Munich . In 1975 he played a leading role in the comedy Der Störrische Kurgast by Josef Mooshofer at the “Weiß-Blauen Bühne” (White-Blue Stage) in Munich . There he also directed .
He was a regular television actor from the late 1970s. Glass was often on German television in comedies and popular comedies used with Bavarian and Austrian background, where he was mostly seen in brief but memorable supporting roles. Glass often played in productions of the Bavarian radio .
In 1978 he was seen in the television series Fast wia in real life . In 1982 he had a guest role in the television series Meister Eder and his Pumuckl in the episode The Enigmatic Dog . In the TV series A Piece of Heaven , he took on the role of Mr. Katz at the side of Grete Zimmer .
He had other roles in the films Kehraus and Der Glockenkrieg . In the two-part television film Wedding , a film adaptation of a subject by Ludwig Thoma , he played the old Reischl farmers under the direction of Kurt Wilhelm .
He played together with numerous other Bavarian folk actors at the side of Gustl Bayrhammer in the television series Franz Xaver Brunnmayr . He also starred in several episodes of the Kir Royal television series .
He was also active in the television films The Chinese Come (1987) and Bei Thea (1988).
