Josef Hans

Josef Hans (born August 12, 1913 in Vienna , † March 13, 1985 in Mödling ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), teacher and industrial worker. From 1945 to 1949 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

After primary school, Josef Hans attended a teacher training college and studied five semesters at the University of World Trade in Vienna . Professionally, he was active as an industrial employee and teacher, and in 1945 as state party secretary of the ÖVP Lower Austria. Between December 19, 1945 and November 8, 1949 he represented the ÖVP in the Austrian National Council. Hans was federal chairman of the Austrian youth movement from 1946 to 1950 and from 1961 the first president of the Lower Austrian Civil Protection Association .
