Stefan Schnöll
Stefan Schnöll (born March 13, 1988 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician . From November 2017 to June 2018 he was a member of the Austrian National Council . He is federal chairman of the young ÖVP . Since June 2018 he has been the regional councilor for transport, infrastructure and sport in Salzburg.
From 2013 to April 2017 he was also Vice President of the Young European People's Party (YEPP). From 2015 he was General Secretary of the Young ÖVP under Federal Chairman Sebastian Kurz and succeeded him as Chairman-designate in May 2017.

Schnöll grew up in the municipality of Wals-Siezenheim in the Salzburg-Umgebung district. From 1994 to 1998 he attended elementary school in Wals-Siezenheim and from 1998 the private high school Borromäum in Salzburg, where he graduated in 2006. He then did his military service with the Austrian Armed Forces in the Schwarzenberg barracks in Salzburg and began studying law at the University of Vienna in 2008. After completing his studies, he completed his legal practice at the Favoriten District Court in 2014.
politics
Schnöll has been a member of the Junge ÖVP since 2009 and has been voluntarily involved in state and district boards of the JVP for several years. Between May 2013 and April 2017 he was also Vice President of the Young European People's Party (YEPP). In spring 2014 Schnöll ran as the top candidate for the Young ÖVP in the elections to the European Parliament and received almost 1,000 preferential votes. Since March 2015 Schnöll has been Secretary General of the Young ÖVP under Federal Chairman Sebastian Kurz and heads the operational agendas of the Young ÖVP. In May 2017 he succeeded Sebastian Kurz as the designated chairman of the JVP. On November 25, 2017, he was elected chairman at the Bundestag of the Young ÖVP in Korneuburg with 99.1% of the delegate's votes.

Stefan Schnöll ran for third place on the ÖVP state list in Salzburg. With 2233 preferential votes, he was able to achieve the best preferential vote result on the state list in Salzburg. From the inauguration on November 8, 2017, he belonged to the National Council of the XXVI. Legislative period . Gertraud Salzmann replaced him in the National Council in June 2018 .
