Josef Johannes Heukeshoven (born May 2, 1901 in Cologne , † November 22, 1993 in Koblenz ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

His family comes from Flemish Burgundy. As a result of clerical disputes, his ancestors emigrated to the nearby German Rhineland, where they bought an estate in Kirchherten . There were working after their depletion in the Great Depression , before they moved to Cologne and the "Gasthaus Heukeshoven" opened, which was operated up to 1970 by the family.

After attending school, Josef Heukeshoven studied economics and political science . From 1928 to 1930 he was the leader of a building cooperative in Cologne . In 1930 Heukeshoven joined the NSDAP: In the same year he successively took over offices as district leader of the NSDAP in Breslau and as district leader of the NSDAP in Gleiwitz . He held the last-mentioned office until 1935. Heukeshoven held his first public office from 1933 as head of the city council in Gleiwitz.

From 1932 until the dissolution of this body in autumn 1933, Heukeshoven was a member of the Prussian state parliament . He then sat from November 1933 to March 1936 as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag in which he represented constituency 9 ( Opole ). On March 29, 1936, he ran again in the Reichstag election, but received no more mandate.

On July 1, 1933, Heukeshoven was initially appointed provisional district administrator in Neisse . From July 10, 1933 to December 1942, he then acted as the regular district administrator of Neisse. He then held office from March 1943 to 1945 as District Administrator of the Sankt Goarshausen district .

Since 1934, Heukeshoven was also a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA), in which he reached the rank of Sturmbannführer in 1942.

Nothing is known about its denazification .
