He also started building an ice hockey school in South Korea.

In October 1998 Jandač left the HC Beroun and became head coach at HC Kralupy nad Vltavou , where he replaced Zdeněk Müller and led the team from the penultimate place into the play-offs. After the end of the season he went back to South Korea, where he won the university championship. Then he returned to the Czech Republic. In the meantime HC Kralupy nad Vltavou had sold its 1st league license and was relegated to the 2nd league. He then took the offer from HC Slavia Prague to look after the club's U18 juniors in the 1999/2000 season.

For the 2000/01 season he returned to his home club. From 2001 to 2004 he was also the head coach of the Bílí Tygři Liberec from the Czech extra league . He spent the following four years with his league rivals HC České Budějovice . From 2010 to 2012 Jandač was head coach in the Czech extra league for HC Pardubice and HC Sparta Prague for one year. For the 2012/13 season he was obliged by HC Lev Prague from the Continental Hockey League . After a series of defeats in October 2012, Jandač was released. Two weeks later he swapped positions with Václav Sýkora , who had previously coached HC Sparta and was now the coach of HC Lev.

Jandač was the head coach of the Czech national team between 2016 and 2018 . He then became head coach at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk from the KHL. After a series of defeats at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he was dismissed and replaced by Ilya Vorobyov .
