Arturo Aiello (born May 14, 1955 in Vico Equense , Province of Naples , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Avellino .

Life

Arturo Aiello received on July 7 in 1979 by the Archbishop of Sorrento , Antonio Zama , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 13, 2006 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Teano-Calvi . The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops , Giovanni Battista Re , ordained him episcopal on June 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop Emeritus of Naples , Cardinal Michele Giordano , and the Archbishop of Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia , Felice Cece .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Avellino on May 6, 2017. The inauguration took place on June 30 of the same year.
