Josef Schuster (politician)
Josef Michael Schuster (born April 5, 1849 in Mediasch ; † December 12, 1914 there ) was a Transylvanian teacher and politician . He was a member of the Medias constituency in the Hungarian Reichstag (1887-1896).
Life
Josef Schuster was born the son of a pharmacist and attended grammar school in Mediasch before studying classical philology and evangelical theology in Jena , Leipzig and Vienna . During his studies he became a member of the Arminia fraternity in the castle cellar in Jena in the winter semester of 1867/68 . In 1867 he took part in the Wartburg Festival. From 1876 he worked as a grammar school professor for Latin , Greek and Magyar at the Protestant grammar school in Medias. From 1887 to 1896 he was a member of parliamentin the Hungarian Reichstag for the constituency of Medias. In 1908 he retired.
