Joseph Gray (* 1984 in Lakewood ) is an American long-distance runner , world champion in mountain running (2016) and world champion in snowshoeing (2017).

Career

"Joe" Gray studied sociology at Oklahoma State University until 2006

In 2015 he received the "USA Mountain Runner of The Year Award". He has been with the Merrell Ambassador Team since 2016 .

In September 2016 he became mountain running world champion in Bulgaria - alongside the Austrian Andrea Mayr .

In February 2017 he became world champion in snowshoeing.

He lives in Colorado Springs .
