Joseph Kipsang

Joseph Kipsang (born September 25, 1962 ) is a former Kenyan long-distance runner .

From 1981 to 1984 he studied at Iowa State University on an athletic scholarship .

In 1986 he won the Grandma's Marathon and the Boilermaker Road Race , and the following year he finished second in the Pittsburgh Marathon .

In 1988 he won the Boilermaker Road Race again. He started in the marathon of the Olympic Games in Seoul but did not finish.

In 1989 he won the Susavigliana and in 1991 he finished fourth in the same race that had now become the Turin Marathon .
