Joseph Mopeli Sephamola
Joseph Mopeli Sephamola OMI (born March 14, 1960 in the area of the parish of St. Francis, Tsoelike , Qacha's Nek District , Lesotho ) is Bishop of Qacha's Nek .
Life
Joseph Mopeli Sephamola joined the Congregation of the Oblates in and laid on January 6, 1984, the first profession from. From 1984 to 1990 he studied Catholic theology and philosophy . Sephamola put on 25 January 1989, the perpetual profession from and received on 27 April 1991, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
He then worked as a missionary in Zambia . From 2001 to 2003 Joseph Mopeli Sephamola worked in the Oblate Study House in Rome . In 2004 he became a novice master in the Quthing Oblate branch . Sephamola spent the years from 2009 to 2011 in South Africa for further studies in spirituality . In July 2011 he became Provincial of the Oblates in Lesotho.
On June 19, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Qacha's Nek. The Archbishop of Maseru , Gerard Tlali Lerotholi OMI, donated him episcopal ordination on September 21, 2013; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Bloemfontein , Jabulani Adatus Nxumalo OMI, and the Bishop of Leribe , Augustinus Tumaole Bane OMI.
