Joseph Viehöver

Joseph Viehöver (born October 31, 1925 in Cologne , † August 12, 1973 in Saarbrücken ) was a German journalist.

Career

From 1945 Viehöver wrote for Die Welt, among others . Between 1949 and 1953 he worked for the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and then moved to the Federal Government's Press and Information Office , where he took over the management of Section III / 3 (Social Policy). In 1958 he went to Saarländischer Rundfunk , in 1961 to Deutschlandfunk and finally in 1965 as program director for ZDF .

Joseph Viehöver was a member of the SPD .

His daughter Yvonne (1955-2006) was also a journalist. From 1992 to 2003 she was the wife of the actor Klausjürgen Wussow .
