Yvonne Wussow

Yvonne Wussow , née Viehöver (born March 15, 1955 in Bonn , † September 5, 2006 in Hamburg ) was a German journalist and writer .

Wussow's father was the DGB press chief, head of the social policy department in the Federal Press Office and ZDF program director Joseph Viehöver (1925–1973). She graduated from the German School of Journalism in Munich, worked as a press spokeswoman, wrote for various media (Cosmopolitan, Stern) and wrote scripts ( Klinik unter Palmen ), texts for children's CDs and several books (South Africa - Beloved Land, My Baby Diary).

From 1992 to 2003 Yvonne Wussow was married to the actor Klausjürgen Wussow (1929–2007). They have one son (* 1993). Between the separation in March 2000 and the divorce in February 2003, the two of them fought in the media in what was known as the “war of the roses” or “mud fight”.

Yvonne Wussow died of breast cancer after 17 years of illness .

Most recently Wussow lived with her partner Jörg Wollny and her son in Hamburg.
