Juan Gabriel Diaz Ruiz
Juan Gabriel Diaz Ruiz (born November 14, 1960 in Camagüey , Cuba ) is a Cuban clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Ciego de Ávila .
Life
Juan Gabriel Diaz Ruiz received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Camagüey on August 5, 1989 .
On July 8, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ciego de Ávila. His predecessor Mario Eusebio Mestril Vega donated him episcopal ordination on September 30 of the same year in the Cathedral of San Eugenio de la Palma in Ciego de Ávila . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Havana , Juan García Rodríguez , and the Archbishop of Camagüey, Wilfredo Pino Estévez .
