In the summer of 2010, Carrizo returned to Argentina to join his hometown club River Plate.
In January 2013, Carrizo moved to Inter Milan on loan . Although Carrizo was only used once as a substitute goalkeeper at Inter in the 2012/13 season , the club announced on July 5, 2013 that the Argentine's contract had been extended by two years until June 30, 2015.
In the summer of 2017, Carrizo moved from Inter Milan to CF Monterrey .
