The Judengraben is an alluvial ditch of the Altmühl south of Neuenmuhr in the area of the municipality of Muhr am See in the Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . It drains the left bank and shallow floodplain of the river.

It begins at an altitude of 414  m above sea level. NHN south of Muhr am See on the sports grounds and only moves 0.75 kilometers east-south-east parallel to Altmühl through the wide open landscape of the wide floodplain . Finally, it separates the Neuenmuhr part of the community on the left bank from the site where Neuenmuhr Castle once stood. Then it bends to the right for the last 0.25 kilometers south of the river. Across from the bathing and sports port area across the river, it then flows out at an altitude of 413  m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Altmühl, which is led here on its north side outside the ring dam of the Altmühlsee .

Like the Altmühl that runs parallel to it, the water has hardly any gradient on this section with just one meter of altitude, which is why the water drains off very slowly. After heavy rainfall, the landscape is inundated by the water masses of the Altmühl. Trenches flow to it three times from the northern floodplain, which is free from the development of the Muhr and Neuenmuhr, of which at least two drain a continuous system of ditches.

According to a somewhat rough geological map, the lowest course lies in the floodplain sediments of the Altmühltal, but most of the course and the catchment area lie in the sandstone keuper ; In view of the flooding of the Altmühl, overlaying with floodplain sediment seems more likely in this flat terrain.
