action
The earth is on a collision course with a 23 km asteroid . A detached fragment hits the surface of the earth as a meteorite and wipes out a village in Peru. The ultimate disaster can only be prevented if a nuclear weapon developed by the scientist Corbett deliberately destroys the asteroid. Only Corbett has the necessary access codes; however, he is kidnapped by the leader of an Afro-American association who announces the day of judgment and thus the end of the world willed by God.
The government officials see the only hope in the FBI agent Tyrell, who should rescue Corbett from the hands of the kidnapper. With the help of the incarcerated criminal Reese, Tyrell wants to track down the cult leader Payne - Reese's archenemy. The agent only has 68 hours for the rescue operation until the asteroid hits Earth.

"Turbulent action film that unites the current figureheads of the US black exploitation film into a largely entertaining story."
“In the wake of Bruce Willis ' hit ' Armageddon ' [...] a lot of stupidity emerged, including this cheap air number . Conclusion: boring effects and paper mache figures. "
