Judith Corachán Vaquera (born July 17, 1984 ) is a Spanish duathlete and triathlete . She is included in the best list of Spanish triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Judith Corachán started her first duathlon in 2009. In 2014 she finished 15th at the European Championships in the middle distance.

National Champion Long Distance Triathlon 2015

In 2015 the Catalan became the Spanish champion in the long distance triathlon.

She has been married since June 2017. In 2017 she was the first Spaniard who could qualify for a starting place at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in the field of professional women and she finished 20th in Chattanooga in September .

In May 2018 she won her second challenge race in the middle distance with the Challenge Salou .

In May 2019, the then 34-year-old was runner-up in the long-distance triathlon in Pontevedra (Spain) behind Frenchwoman Alexandra Tondeur . At the first edition of the Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz , she was third in Spain in July. In October she was second behind the Austrian Lisa Hütthaler in the Ironman 70.3 Marrakech .

In March 2020, after 9:03:21 h, she finished third in the Ironman New Zealand in her personal best on the Ironman distance .
