Judith Gap is a city in Wheatland County in the US state of Montana , United States . Judith Gap is best known for his ambitious wind power project .

The city is located in the historically significant Judith Gap, a small gap between the Big Snowy Mountains and Little Belt Mountains, which separate central and southern Montana. This place has been used by both Indians and settlers for centuries .
The urban area has a size of 0.98 km². In 2010 the population was 126.
Economy and Infrastructure
Because of the terrain and the prevailing wind , Judith Gap is the location of one of the most ambitious wind power projects in the USA, the Judith Gap Wind Farm . The 90 wind turbines were erected in 2005 and are almost 80 meters high. Together, the wind farm's turbines have a nominal capacity of 135 megawatts.
