Youth trains for Olympics & Paralympics / tennis
The national final of the school competition youth trains for the Olympics & Paralympics in the tennis discipline takes place as part of the autumn finals, usually in mid-October.
Competition mode
There will be one tournament each for girls and boys in competition class III (12 to 14 years). The state winners of the 16 federal states are entitled to start. State competitions are also held in competition classes I, II and IV, but they do not lead to a federal final.
The tournament is held as a team competition with four singles and two doubles, with each victory being awarded one point for the respective team. In the event of a tie (3: 3), the decision on the winner is made first according to the number of sets won, then according to the number of games won and finally according to the winner of the 2nd double.
A team, including a substitute player, consists of a maximum of six players, five of whom must be used during a competition. The list is based on the ranking list of the German Tennis Federation , provided that the students are listed in ranking lists.
