Julián Cuesta Díaz (born March 28, 1991 in Granada ), also known only as Julián , is a Spanish soccer goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Greek first division club Aris Thessaloniki since the 2018/19 season .

Club career

Cuesta began his football career at Sevilla FC , where he played in the youth department until 2010. He then rose to the second team of Sevilla FC, which played in the Segunda División B.

On January 26, 2013 Cuesto rose to the first team of Sevilla FC because the goalkeeper Diego López moved to Real Madrid and his substitute Andrés Palop was injured. Two days later he was at the 3: 0 win against FC Granada his debut for the first team in the Liga BBVA give.

On January 21, 2014 Cuesta was loaned from Sevilla FC to the UD Almería until the end of the season. After the loan, he was signed by Almería and on June 13, 2014 he signed a 3-year contract. He made his debut for his new employer on December 5, 2014 in a 4-3 win against Betis Sevilla in the Copa del Rey , and made his league debut for UD Almería on December 19, 2014 in a 1-0 win against Celebrate Celta Vigo .
