Julia Duporty ( Julia Esther "Daysi" Duporty Torres; born February 9, 1971 in Guantánamo ) is a former Cuban sprinter .

In 1991 she won silver in the 4-by-100-meter relay and the 4-by-400-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Havana . At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo , she reached the semi-finals over 200 m and came in sixth place with the Cuban 4-by-100-meter relay.

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​she was eliminated from the Cuban 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.

In 1993 she won the Central America and Caribbean Games over 400 m and was sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Championships in Stuttgart . At the Athletics World Cup in London in 1994 , she was fifth in the 400 m and third in the 4 x 400 meter relay. In 1995 she was fourth at the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata over 200 m and won over 400 m and in the 4-by-400-meter relay. In 1997 she won gold over 400 m at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships and in 1998 bronze over 200 m at the Ibero-American Championships. With the Cuban 4 x 400 meter relay, she defended the title at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1999 and finished seventh at the World Cup in Seville . At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she came in eighth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
