Julia Hillens (* in Karlsruhe ) is a German singer , songwriter , band leader and entrepreneur.

Life

Julia Hillens completed her training at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg . She celebrated her first successes in the field of musicals ; so she appeared in over 15 different pieces. As Val Petty she sang in Buddy in Hamburg from 1994 to 2001 . Other roles followed, for example in Rugrats in Paris (Princess), the Rocky Horror Show (Magenta), in Shout Beheeve Girls (Julia), Starclub (Conny) and Slice of Saturday night (Briget).

In 1995 she signed a record deal for the group "SPLASH" and immediately landed in the international top 100 at VIVA and MTV with her first track, One more dream .

She also played and sang in the TV series: That's life! The Wagenfelds from SAT1 and Die Schule am See on ARD . This was followed by advertising contracts for well-known food companies and further record contracts with various labels .

In 2000 she founded her own live, show and cover band "BLUE CAFÉ - the band", of which she is also the managing director. At the Eurovions preliminary round Eesti Laul 2002 she came 6th with the title U can't stop me .

She runs the Hillens Entertainment company .

The band

Musicians like Roger Cicero , Stefan Gwildis , Otto Waalkes , Lotto King Karl , Ina Müller and Semino Rossi play in their band “BLUE CAFÉ” . Permanent band members are: Volkan Baydar from " Orange Blue ", Stephan Birkmeyer, Simon Marlow, Myra Maud, Denise Modjallal - alias Ateed , Pablo, Andreas Paulsen, Detlef Raschke, Helge Teschner, Kevin Weatherspoon from Try 'N' B and Jens Wrede.

The international band "BLUE CAFÉ" does not play with a fixed line-up, but depending on requirements from duo to musical band in changing formation for well-known large companies, galas, events and trade fairs.
