Julia Leinweber
Julia Leinweber (* 1981 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actress , singer and dancer .
biography
Julia Leinweber was born in Frankfurt am Main. She completed her training as a musical performer in Munich and at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles.
Musical theater
Already during her training she could be seen at the independent Landestheater Bayern under the direction of Bernd Seidel in Struwwelpeter (as Paulinchen) and in the post-war musical Casa Carioca (as Christa). This was followed by engagements for West Side Story (Anita) at the Stadttheater Altenburg / Gera, Jesus Christ Superstar (Soul girl) at the Erfurt Cathedral Festival. For both pieces she was also signed by the United Theaters of Bozen .
From 2006 to 2009 she played in the hit musical Mamma Mia at the Palladium Theater Stuttgart and at TAPP Berlin (Cover Ali). She was also seen at the Wuppertal Opera House in Cabaret (Kit-Kat girl), in Hello, Dolly (Cover Minnie Fay) and Johnny Cash - The Man in Black (Vivian Liberto / Louise) at Konzertdirektion Landgraf .
At the Stadttheater Hof she played the role of "Rosalia" in West Side Story , directed by Reinhardt Friese . In 2011 she played in the musical Ludwig² - The King Comes Back in Kempten, where she a. a. gave the role of Sybille Meilhaus and Marie Queen of Bavaria .
From June 2012 Julia Leinweber will be seen at the Volkstheater Frankfurt - Liesel Christ as "Anne" in La Cage aux Folles .
Spoken theater
Since 2011 Julia Leinweber has played the role of "Sophie Gladwell" in the crime comedy Ein Fall für Pater Brown (after the filming with Heinz Rühmann ) at the Theater im Rathaus Essen.
Julia Leinweber has been a permanent ensemble member at Theater Hof since the 2015/16 season .
Music video
Julia Leinweber took on the leading female role in the music video for the song Satin Butterfly by the Munich band Jamaram in 2006.
