After completing my studies, I spent a year abroad in Africa . During this time he got to know various rituals of African tribal dances and the magic of the black continent. Further trips took him to India , Sri Lanka , South and East Africa. As a result, he acquired his own, unmistakable style in theatrical work. From 1983 to 1985 he directed the summer academy in southern Italy ( Lecce ).

From 1985 to 1987 he headed the theater workshop in Berlin , which particularly dealt with socially critical plays. After that, through the friendship with Marianne Sägebrecht , I moved to Munich . In addition to lecturing at the Institute for Theater Studies, he mainly devoted himself to dance and theater. It emerged multimedia pieces such as "Emotional Risk 3" and "Transition" (dance performance ).

In 1993/1994 Bernd Seidel took over the co-direction of the Weilheimer Theatersommer with actors like Hilde Krahl , Ellen Umlauf , Cordula Trantow , Christine Kaufmann , Marianne Sägebrecht and Senta Berger . From 1990 he took over the overall management of the Wolf-Ferrari-Haus cultural center in Ottobrunn near Munich and has been an independent artistic consultant ever since. To further develop his style, he founded the TAT Creative Academy in 2001.
