Julia Schöning
Julia Schöning (* 1974 in Bochum ) is a German journalist and television presenter .
Life
Julia Schöning graduated from high school in Bochum in 1993. After a job at the Paul Cézanne University in France she studied from 1994 to 2003 art history and German literature at the University of Bochum and graduated with Master of Arts .
Schöning's professional career began at a local radio station in Bochum , where she worked as an author, reporter and news editor. In 2000 she came to WDR with a traineeship . There she was, among other things, a reporter for the ARD morning magazine and Zimmer frei! as well as moderator for A40 . Schöning has been moderating for the Phoenix news channel since 2008 . From 2010 to 2011 she hosted the program Planet Wissen . Schöning has been a presenter at WDR 5 since 2017 and continues to work as an author for WDR television , among others. a. Mrs. TV and here and now . Since 2020 she has also acted as a moderator at ARD Morgenmagazin.
