Julian Lüttmann (born April 19, 1982 in Rheine ) is a German former football player who was used in the storm .

Career

Lüttmann's football career began at SC Hörstel, a small club from Hörstel founded in 1921 . In 1996 he moved to the youth department of Preußen Münster , where he stayed until the turn of the year 2002/03. Then Lüttmann played for the regional league team Holstein Kiel , but was only used sporadically in the first team. In 2004 he moved to the upper division FC Eintracht Rheine . Another year later he switched to Sportfreunde Lotte . Here he was in his second season, 2006/07 , top scorer in the Oberliga Westfalen . At the beginning of the new season Lüttmann was signed by Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . After the promotion with RWO from the Regionalliga Nord to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2008, Lüttmann made his debut in the second division on the 1st matchday of the 2008/09 season against TuS Koblenz . The game was lost 3-0, Lüttmann came on in the 65th minute for Felix Luz . In total he played 31 times for RWO during this season and scored four goals. On August 20, 2009 he joined the third division club SV Sandhausen . In January 2010 Lüttmann moved to the league competitor Rot-Weiß Erfurt . There he played until the end of the 2010/11 season.

In October 2011, Lüttmann signed a two-year contract with VfB Oldenburg that ran until June 2013 , where he also took over the captain's armband. With 17 goals this season in just 22 games, he led VfB to third place in the Lower Saxony Oberliga and to promotion to the Regionalliga Nord. In the following season he scored 13 goals in 30 games in the Regionalliga. Subsequently, his contract in Oldenburg was not extended.

In September 2013 Lüttmann signed a two-year contract with the top division club SSV Jeddeloh , which, in addition to his sporting commitment, also involved professional retraining. There he suffered a meniscus injury including cartilage damage, whereupon he ended his career as an active footballer.

In the 2014/15 season, Lüttmann took on the role of sporting director at VfB Oldenburg.
