Julian Reinard (born March 5, 1983 in Scherzingen , Switzerland) is a German football player who also has a Swiss passport.

Career

Raised in Allensbach on Lake Constance , he first played in the youth of SV Allensbach before he over FC Konstanz and FC Schaffhausen to SC Freiburg came. He attended the football boarding school there and graduated from high school during his training in the youth and second team of the SC.

Professional trainer Volker Finke described Reinard as the “goalkeeper of the future” of the SC. Shortly afterwards, he represented the injured goalkeepers Richard Golz and Timo Reus during the last games of the 2003/04 season . After initially performing well, however, he increasingly showed weaknesses and conceded several goals. During the 2004/05 season he then ousted Reus as number 2 and was used twice in the Bundesliga. While he was still traded as Golz's successor by 2006 at the latest after a convincing performance against in the Bundesliga match against FC Bayern Munich on February 26th, his disastrous performance in the 7-0 defeat in the cup game was also against Bayern a few days later a traumatic experience for him, which blocked the chance to become at least number 2 permanently. Instead of being the successor to Golz, Reinard and SC Freiburg could not agree on a contract extension and parted ways in the summer of 2006.

After a trial session in October 2006 with the Israeli first division team Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan , he was signed by the promoted team and became the first German player to appear for an Israeli team on October 23, 2006 in a 3: 3 against Maccabi Haifa . But because of groin problems, Reinard and Hakoah split up after "one and a half games". After playing at FC Wil and BSV 07 Schwenningen , he played both as a defender and as a goalkeeper at the amateur club FC Neustadt. To this end, he will be studying at the Schwenningen University of Applied Sciences from October 2008. In the summer of 2008, during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he wanted to train Chinese youth in a soccer school, but this was prevented by government bans. Since the 2008/09 winter break, Reinard has also been Torsten Willmann's assistant trainer .

In the summer of 2011, Julian Reinard moved to the Swiss club FC Kreuzlingen in the 2nd interregional league . There he was in Group 6 as a goalkeeper at the beginning of the season before he was ousted by Javier Belda .
