Julie Bräuning
Julie Bräuning (* 1977 in Basel ) is a Swiss actress , speaker and author of radio pieces.
After completing her acting training at the Zurich Theater School , she was a member of the ensemble at the Bochum Schauspielhaus from 2000 to 2005 . and played there in the plays: Helges Leben , Bluthochzeit , Weit von hier, Das Käthchen von Heilbronn and Romeo and Juliet . The last-named production moved in 2005 with the artistic director Matthias Hartmann to the Schauspielhaus Zürich , where Julie Bräuning was a guest in several plays. She also appeared in the title role of Helge Schneider's musical Mendy - das Wusical in Bochum , which was also broadcast on television and is available as a DVD recording.
In 2005 Julie Bräuning was named the best young actress in North Rhine-Westphalia.
She has been working as a freelance actress since 2005 and has made guest appearances at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg (in cooperation with the Young Directors project of the Salzburg Festival ) in the play Much Ado About Nothing . She also worked at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . In 2007/2008 she appeared for the first time at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin in the production “After the End”.
