Julija Wladimirowna Timoshinina ( Russian Юлия Владимировна Тимошинина ; English transcription Yuliya Vladimirovna Timoshinina ; often Yulia Timoshinina in entry and result lists ; * January 23, 1998 in Moscow ) is a Russian water diver who has performed above all in individual tower diving and also competes in synchronized jumping from the 3 m board.

Julija Timoschinina is the daughter of the former world-class water divers Swetlana Timoschinina and Vladimir Timoschinin .

She has been competing in international diving competitions since 2012 and attracted attention with good placements in youth competitions and in the FINA Grand Prix.

In 2013 she won the tower title in her age group at the European Youth Championships in Poznan . In the same year she entered the World Championships in Barcelona and took eighth place in synchronized jumping from the tower with Jekaterina Petuchowa , while she could not qualify for the final in the individual.

In 2014 she competed in the FINA World Series for the first time and took several fifth and sixth places in synchronized jumping. At the European Championships in Berlin , Timoschinina won the title in 10 m synchronized jumping together with Petuchowa - 15 years after her mother Swetlana became European champion in this discipline. In the individual from the tower, Julija Timoschinina took sixth place. In the following year in Rostock she reached fourth place in the individual from the 10 m tower and defended the title in synchronized jumping with Petuchowa.
