Julius Albert Siehr

Julius Albert Siehr (born January 27, 1801 in Tilsit , † March 15, 1876 in Gumbinnen ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician.

Life

Siehr, the son of a judiciary, studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg from 1818 to 1822 . He was a member of the "Littauerkräzchens" within the fraternity community in Königsberg (later Corps Littuania ). From 1822 he was an administrative officer in Königsberg (Prussia) and Arnsberg . In 1846 he became senior councilor and conductor of the interior department of the government in Königsberg . Most recently he was a secret councilor to the government in Gumbinnen .

From June 9, 1848 to May 11, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly ( Casino ).
