Jung Jae-yong ( kor. 정재용 ; born September 14, 1990 ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Jung Jae-yong learned to play football in the university team of Korea University in the South Korean capital Seoul . He signed his first contract with FC Anyang in 2013 . The Anyang club played in the country's second division, the K League Challenge . After 86 games and 15 goals in the second division, he moved to Ulsan first division club Ulsan Hyundai in August 2016 . Until March 2019 he played 45 times in K League 1 and scored six goals. For the rest of the year he went to Pohang and joined league rivals Pohang Steelers . In 2020, the Thai first division club Buriram United from Buriram signed him. The club plays in the first division, the Thai League . Buriram had to pay a transfer fee of 350,000 euros for the player. Jung Jae-yong is the most expensive Asian player in Buriram United history to date. After four first division games, the contract was terminated on April 28, 2020. Two months later he signed a contract in his home country with Suwon FC . The club from Suwon played in the second South Korean league, the K League 2 .
