Jure Pohleven (born February 18, 1985 in Kranj ) is a former Slovenian natural track luge . He took part in three World Cup races in the 2001/2002 season and started once each at World and European Championships .

Career

Jure Pohleven only took part in international competitions in the 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 seasons. He made his debut on December 14, 2001 in the World Cup race in Olang , where he failed in the second round. In the remainder of the 2001/2002 season he was used twice in the World Cup, achieved a 22nd place in Umhausen and 17th in Železniki and was 29th in the overall standings. After that, he did not contest any other World Cup races. At the Junior World Championship in Gsies in 2002 , Pohleven finished in 18th place, but only finished 34th at the 2003 Junior European Championship in Kreuth . His only result in title fights in the general class was 26th place at the European Championships in 2002 in Frantschach-Sankt Gertraud . At the 2003 World Championships in Železniki, he was eliminated in the first of three races. After 2003, Jure Pohleven no longer competed in international races, but continues to take part in national competitions.
