Yuri Borissowitsch Pantjuchow ( Russian Юрий Борисович Пантюхов ; born March 15, 1931 in Kolomna , † October 22, 1981 in Moscow ) was a Russian - Soviet ice hockey player .

Career

First Pantjuchow Bandy played at Dynamo Moscow before he switched to ice hockey.

During his career, Yuri Pantjuchow played with Krylya Sowetow Moscow , WWS Moscow and CSKA Moscow . In total, he scored 121 goals in 230 games in the Soviet league . In the 1961/62 season he let his career with SKA Leningrad end. After retiring, he worked as a trainer at SKA MWO, the sports lottery and in the management of the Zenit sports club.

Yuri Pantjuchow died in October 1982 and was buried in the Danilov Cemetery in Moscow.

International

On January 9, 1955, Yuri Pantjuchow was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Soviet national team on the ice. His international career was crowned with a gold medal at the 1956 Winter Olympics . In recognition of this success, he was then awarded the title of Honored Master of Sport .

On March 15, 1959, he played his last international match. For the national team, he scored a total of 32 goals in 68 international matches.
