Justin Chambers
Justin Chambers (born July 11, 1970 in Springfield , Ohio ) is an American actor . He is half Irish and half German of descent.
Career
He was discovered by a model scout on the Paris subway and later ran advertising campaigns for fashion designer Calvin Klein . After several assignments in Europe , Japan and the USA , Chambers decided to get into the film business and moved to New York .
There he worked for four years at HB Studios, which subsequently helped him get his first role in the television series Another World . He had his first major success with a supporting role in the film Wedding Planner at the side of Jennifer Lopez . From 2005 to 2019, Chambers played the role of Dr. Alex Karev in the television series Grey's Anatomy .
Justin Chambers was voted “Sexiest Dad” at the 2008 “What Is Sexy?” Party hosted by American fashion company Victoria's Secret .
Private life
Chambers has a twin brother named Jason and an older brother and two older sisters. He has been married to model agent Keisha Chambers since 1993 , with whom he has five children.
On January 31, 2008, Chambers self-admitted to UCLA Medical Center due to exhaustion and insomnia.
