Justus Cronenbold (born March 27, 1897 in Groß -zimmer , † April 8, 1977 in Worms ) was a German educator and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After visiting the elementary school and the high school at the Ludwig-Georgs-Gymnasium Darmstadt Crone Bold was from 1915 to 1918 combatants. He then completed a teachers' seminar, which he completed in 1920 with the first and in 1921 with the second teacher examination. Then worked as a primary school and vocational school teacher. Furthermore, he completed an apprenticeship as a trade teacher, which included an apprenticeship as a baker with a final journeyman's examination . In 1928 he began studying pedagogy, constitutional law and economics and business administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , which he completed in 1931 with the examination as a commercial instructor. From 1932 to 1945 he worked as a senior commercial teacher in Worms . He was briefly arrested in connection with the assassination attempt on July 20, 1944 ( action grid ). In 1945 he became city and district school councilor in Worms.

Cronenbold joined the SPD in 1927. In 1933 he became a member of the NSV and in 1934 of the NSLB . In 1942 he applied for membership in the NSDAP (registered by the Reichsluftschutzbund Kreis Worms). This application was rejected on July 30, 1943 because of political activities for the SPD before 1933. On July 3, 1947, his denazification proceedings ended when the Worms-Stadt investigative committee stopped the purge proceedings.

Cronenbold had been a councilor for the city ​​of Worms and a member of the district council of the Worms district since 1945 . In 1946/47 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of Rhineland-Palatinate and was then a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament until his resignation on May 29, 1951 . In the state parliament he was a member of the constitutional committee, agricultural policy committee, main committee and cultural policy committee. Franz Adamo moved up for him in the state parliament.
