Jutta Penndorf

Jutta Penndorf (born June 25, 1946 in Templin ) was director of the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg and member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts until 2012 .

Life

Jutta Penndorf graduated from high school in 1965 after completing vocational training as a structural draftswoman . Then she worked in the antique trade in Berlin. From 1966 to 1971 she studied art history at the University of Leipzig . From 1971 to 1975 Jutta Penndorf was a research assistant, later an employee and deputy director at the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg . From 1975 to 1981 she worked as a freelancer. From 1981 to 2012 she held the post of director of the Lindenau Museum.

Jutta Penndorf is a member of the Saxon Academy of the Arts and since 2014 Secretary of the Fine Arts class at the Saxon Academy of the Arts .
